The second weekend of the Southern Conference League was just as exhilarating as the first with four teams kicking off their campaign.
In the West Division, both All Golds and Valley Cougars faced off in their first games of the Southern Conference League, and it was the Cougars who came out on top with a dominant display.
Eight tries from the Welsh side, including a hat-trick from Shaun Webber showed that the home-side picked up a 42-8 victory at Nelson RFC.
In the other Western Divison fixture, Torfaen Tigers were in action against Swindon St George, and for the second week in a row, the Tigers put 50 points on the board.
They were made to work for it though as St George put up a fight with a final-score of 50-36.
Torfaen once again scored 10 tries, with both Ben Swift and Jarad Hinnem grabbing braces.
In the Easern Division, Bedford Tigers faced North Herts Crusaders in a repeat of last seasons East Premier Division Grand Final, in which the Crusaders came out on top.
This time though, it was the Tigers who took the spoils on this occasion.
Tries from Oliver Askew-Fountain, Scott Aspinall, Lee Walker, Jordan Marshall and Ben Hardman were enough to see off a spirited Crusaders side.
This means that North Herts sit at the bottom of the table after two games played.
Another side who haven’t picked up a win yet this season are Hemel Stags who after dropping out of League One were not expecting such a tough ride.
Eastern Rhinos picked up a 28-14 victory in Colchester thanks to tries from Dan Harding, Sam Evans, Adam Cook, Vilive Koroibanuve, Graham Atkinson and Ewan Banner.
Hemels points came courtesy of Gareth Swindells and Samuel Griffiths.
