Betfred League One sides entered the Coral Challenge Cup Third Round this evening alongside the 11 successful Community Clubs who survived the first two rounds with some exciting ties were pulled out of the hat by St Helens duo Jack Ashworth and Matty Lees.
Despite the prospect of Rochdale Mayfield vs Rochdale Hornets, that was quickly wiped out as Mayfield were drawn at home against North Wales Crusaders.
One the other hand, Hornets will welcome York Acorn.
Bentley, the lowest ranked side left in the competition, will travel to Leigh Miners Rangers, with the British Army hosting Ince Rose Bridge in Aldershot.
London Skolars and Coventry Bears both have long trips on their hands, having to travel to Barrow Raiders and Hunslet respectively in two all-League One ties.
Another tie featuring two teams in the same division is Siddal vs West Hull in a titanic National Conference League Premier Division clash.
In the remaining ties, West Bowling travel to Workington Town, Thornhill Trojans welcome Doncaster and West Wales Raiders face off against Underbank Rangers.
Ties will be played on the weekend of 8/9 February.
13 Betfred Championship clubs will enter the competition at round four, followed by four Betfred Super League clubs at round five and the rest at round six.
BBC Sport and the Rugby Football League will continue to stream games up to and including the fifth round, with the BBC televising two ties from the sixth round and the quarter finals, and then both semi finals which will be played along with the Coral Women’s Challenge Cup Final in a triple header at the University of Bolton Stadium on Saturday 6 June.
The 2020 Coral Challenge Cup Final will be played at Wembley Stadium on Saturday 18 July.
